Out-of-home (OOH) advertising refers to any type of advertising that takes place outside of the home. This includes billboards, street furniture (such as bus shelters, kiosks, and subway platforms), and transit advertising (such as buses, trains, and taxis). It also includes place-based media like cinema, airports, and shopping centers. OOH advertising allows businesses to reach consumers where they live, work and play. Because OOH is seen in the physical world, it can't be skipped, fast-forwarded, blocked or scrolled past, making it unique among advertising media.
